The ‘Day of the Dead‘ series of zombie movies are straight to SYFY worthy, which by my standards is still OK.
Have you read my disclaimer on the movies I write about? It explains my taste.
When the movie starts, we meet Zoe and a short time later her obsessive stalker Max played by Johnathon Schaech, who was an absolute creeper in the 2008 movie “Prom Date” playing the part of another stalker.
Most of the movie takes place in a post-apocalyptic zombie infested world. After the initial attack, when Max is bitten by a zombie, a group of survivors are sent to refugee camps guarded by military personal. Zoe is in shock when she sees Max, the half-human half-zombie man, has followed her to the camp.
Its soon realized that Max is not like the other rotters, he is different. He is able to still think somewhat conscientiously and make decisions. He also looks a lot like the Joker, what’s up with that?
Without giving away too much, its worth making a movie night out of by inviting some friends over so you can all laugh at some of the worst zombie acting in a movie. Seriously, have these zombies ever watched another zombie movie?
Official Day of the Dead: Bloodline Trailer:
Disclaimer: I have a tendency to like shitty zombie movies. Due to my biased opinion I will refrain from writing any sort of official movie review. If you want to watch a movie I say I like. You've been warned. Its not my fault you watched it. Are we cool with that?
