I saw Fido was on Netflix which I haven’t seen in several years so guess what, I watched it again. This satire zombie movie offers a different twist on the genre. A company by the name of Zomcon has figured out (or so they think) how to control the zombies using domestication collars.
The movie focuses on the Robinson family, Timmy and his parents, who have ordered their very own domestic helper zombie. Then its delivered, Timmy quickly names him Fido.
Timmy is a lonely kid and quickly takes a liking to Fido, who he tends to treat more like a family dog than a flesh-eating zombie. Which by the way, Fido, still does very well.
His friendship with Fido eventually gets him into trouble and in the end, its his zombie companion who saves the day.
